Dreadful Sirens

So this NSFW comic about the adventures of real-life pirates Mary Read and Anne Bonny has a good Oglaf-vibe about it.  I'll be curious to see how it turns out.

I mention it here because I know that some people enjoy violent, raunchy, lady-pirates.

One classy bastard.

One classy bastard. Come see me as Major Metcalf in Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap being put on by Theatre At First last weekend of February and first weekend of March at Unity Church in Somerville.

So, on the one hand, I am suddenly very uninterested in following Marvel comics right now (not that I have many titles in rotation currently).

On the other hand, if it produces another 12 issues of Nextwave it will have all been worth it.
A simple litmus test:

The Amherst Railroad Hobby Show is taking place two weeks from now at the Exposition Center in Amherst MA.  I'm planning to go up on Saturday the 24th to check it out.  It's the largest model railroad show in New England and I've been meaning to go for ages.  If other folks want to go and meet up there, let me know.

Aside from aisles and aisles of model railroad vendors, the real treat will be all the show layouts set up for people to gawk at.  The video below shows some of the highlights from previous shows.

* Correction: A previous version of this post misstated the number of times Satan appears in Led Zeppelin’s lyrics.

Tai:  ...and then he went poof and disappeared!
Skel:  Well, it's not a problem then, is it?

Me:  That pretty much sums up Apocalypse World:  If it isn't about to kill you Right Now, it's not a problem.   #ApocalypseWorld
