How do people get earbuds to stay in?

How do people get earbuds to stay in? I've tried a couple different tips, the large ones (duh) seem best but as I run/jog they pull out of my ears.

  1. Are they sports buds? Mine are extra grippy silicone that seem to have no problem staying in.

  2. they're anker sports buds.  They're bluetooth so the buds are a bit bigger.  Regular earbuds (like you get stock with the iPhone) also don't do very well.

  3. Bluetooth, so no cable? (You said they "pull" out, did you mean fall out?)

Mine have covers that seem to anchor them in my ears securely. I'll show you next time I see you.

  4. I have squishy earbud tips; I roll them in my fingers to compress them, then stick them in my ears. They expand in place to stay put.

  5. I loop their cable above my ears.

  6. Joanne McLernon no there's a cable connecting the two earbuds.

  7. I literally do not get earbuds to stay in. I will be wearing over the ear models till death

  8. I use cheap Skullcandy ones and they have silicone covers that keep them in (and also turn out to block a lot of ambient noise). Maybe yours just don't fit? There are also ones with pieces that go over and then behind your ear.

  9. I have a rough time with earbuds too.  They'll stay in for a gentle walk but not a brisk one and definitely not a run.  Over-the-ear FTW.

  10. I can't get them to stay in even when I'm sitting on the couch watching a movie. And if I try to eat while I'm wearing them, forget it. I think over-the-ear styles are the only way, though I am curious about the earplug-style ones.
