A.R.T. - American Repertory Theater
So last night I went to see The Mikado at the Oberon. It's a re-imagined show set in a carnival/marching band universe with a folk music arrangement.
The show was a great deal of fun. They have this "interspersed" performance where they move about the floor of the Oberon and you move out of the way. If you're close to the action, you're encouraged to squat down so other people can see. Since this means I would be rolling about on the floor I opted to grab some limited seating off to the side and stay there. It was a good choice, but being in the thick of things seems like it'd be fun too.
Anyway, just a delightful performance and worth checking out.

Now I want to go to this! So many ways to spend all my no money.
ReplyDeleteHayley Kahn I know someone who might still have a couple of spare tickets for tonight's show. Not sure how much she wants for them, though.
ReplyDeleteThank you Rowan M ! I already have plans for tonight but appreciate your efforts to facilitate my attendance. I am going to look at tickets and try to go in the next couple weeks.
